James W. Holchin, Esq.

James W. Holchin is a 1992 graduate of Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, where he finished in the top 20% of his class. His law school experience included an externship with the Honorable Robin Riblet, Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in 1992. He was also a member of the International and Comparative Law Journal for two years, where he served as an Articles Editor in his second year.

James Holchin obtained his undergraduate education at the University of California at Berkeley, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1986. Mr. Holchin has previously worked as an associate at Inglis, Ledbetter & Gower, Kearney Alvarez, LLP and Thever & Associates in Los Angeles.

James W. Holchin practices in the areas of business, employment and personal injury litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He has extensive experience in law and motion and has taken and defended hundreds of depositions and attended numerous arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Holchin also has trial experience in the area of personal injury and has successfully negotiated settlements for his clients, whether plaintiffs or defendants. He is admitted to practice law in all California state courts and in the Central District for the Federal courts.

Mr. Holchin also practices in the areas of California estate planning, probate and trust contest litigation as well as financial and physical elder abuse. He also assists clients in the preparation of trusts and wills. He has participated in the pro bono wills program at the Joslyn Senior Center in Burbank since 2005.
