Mark L. Russakow, Esq.
Mark L. Russakow is a 1992 graduate of Loyola Law School. Prior to law school, Mr. Russakow attended the University of California at Irvine, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
Mr. Russakow has achieved multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts for his plaintiff clients, as well as successful settlements and verdicts while representing management and insurance companies. His extensive litigation experience consists of numerous trials, and hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Russakow often obtains “win-win” resolutions for his clients that avoid the necessity of protracted and expensive litigation. Although he employs an aggressive litigation posture, he is known for achieving creative settlement solutions that are often more beneficial than “winning the lawsuit”. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Russakow has lectured on numerous occasions to various human resource groups on methods to prevent sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuits. He has been elected a “Rising Star, Super Lawyer” in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
He practices in the areas of business and commercial law, employment law, insurance law, labor law, civil litigation and appeals, and personal injury. Mr. Russakow is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Southern California Defense Bar, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and is admitted to practice in all California State courts, the United States District Court, Central District and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also serves as a legal expert and ongoing legal correspondent for KNX Radio.
Christopher B. Johnson, Esq.
Christopher B. Johnson is a 1994 graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. He was a Dean’s Scholar, and an extern at the legal department of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., and for the Honorable Barry Russell, Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wheaton College in 1991.
Prior to forming Russakow | Ryan | Johnson, he worked at his own estate planning and probate practice in Pasadena, and as a civil litigation attorney for the Law Office of Errol Berk in Ventura. He has appeared on NBC-TV news and radio programs to discuss estate planning and probate issues. He is a member of the Fiduciary Round Table in Pasadena, National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, the Los Angeles County and Pasadena Bar Associations, and the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Association.
He practices in the areas of estate planning and probate, including trusts and wills, probate litigation, business succession and elder law, as well as bankruptcy and creditor law. He is admitted to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Court, Central District.
Lisa Tan, Esq.
Lisa Tan received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 2003 and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Southern California in 1999.
Prior to joining Russakow, Ryan & Johnson, Ms. Tan was an associate with Yee & Belilove where she specialized in professional liability and employment practices defense. Ms. Tan practices in the areas of commercial, financial and employment litigation for major local and national clients. Her experience includes all aspects of litigation from mediations to trials and arbitrations.
Ms. Tan is admitted to practice law in all California state courts and the United States District Court, Central and Northern Districts. As of April 2008, Ms. Tan became a Partner of Russakow, Ryan and Johnson. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Pasadena Bar Association.
Ms. Tan received the distinction of being named “Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Los Angeles Magazine in 2009 and 2010. She was also voted "Top Lawyer" by her peers in Pasadena Magazine in 2009.
Sergio A. Rodriguez, Esq., M.B.A.
Sergio A. Rodriguez was drafted in 1998 by one of the “big five” consulting and accounting firms. He provided advice and representation for multinational corporate clients in the areas of taxation and commercial law. Mr. Rodriguez came to the California in 1999 to further his education in the area of business law and obtained a Master in Business Administration in year 2000.
Mr. Rodriguez is a partner at RRJ Law and during his carrier has acquired significant experience in many different fields including business law and litigation, family law, taxation law, and immigration law.
Mr. Rodriguez is a member of the California State Bar, licensed and admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the California Supreme Court.
During his tenure at RRJ Law, he has taken a leadership role and headed the opening and implementation of our Irvine and Ontario offices. Currently, he has been entrusted with the management and supervision of RRJ’s office in Ontario, California. This office is now growing under his leadership.
Lastly, Mr. Rodriguez played professional tennis in Spain, France and Germany, and is fluent in the Spanish and German languages as well.
Colin Greene, Esq.
Colin T. Greene has extensive experience in all areas of family law and immigration and nationality law. He became a Partner at Russakow | Ryan | Johnson in 2009.
Mr. Greene is a graduate of UCLA and Loyola Law School, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993. He has lectured and taught "Suing the INS in Federal Court," for the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has also been an invited speaker before many groups.
Mr. Greene has been quoted on family law and immigration law by the media, including the Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Daily Journal. His publications include Inside the Minds: California Family Law Strategies, Aspatore Books 2009. His published cases include Rios v. Ashcroft, 287 F.3d 895 (9th. Cir. 2002) [family of murdered Guatemalan army officer who was kidnapped and threatened established persecution because of imputed political opinion].
Mr. Greene is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Los Angeles County Bar, including its family law and immigration sections, and a member of the Pasadena Bar Association. He was named a “Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Los Angeles Magazine in 2004 and voted “Top Lawyer” by his peers in Pasadena Magazine in 2009.
