Mark L. Russakow selected third year in a row as Southern California Super Lawyer Rising Star
Publishers’ Annual Awards Honor Young Legal Stars
June 06 – For the third year in a row, Mark L. Russakow, Esq., a partner in the law firm of Russakow, Ryan & Johnson, has been named a Southern California “Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Los Angeles Magazine in the area of business litigation. Mr. Russakow represents both plaintiffs and defendants in the areas of employment, personal injury and business litigation. He has achieved multimillion-dollar settlements for his plaintiff clients, as well as successful settlements while representing management and insurance companies.
Each year, Los Angeles Magazine joins with Law and Politics to recognize outstanding attorneys who are up to 40 years old, or who have been in practice for ten years or less, comprising the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in Los Angeles and Orange County. Nominees are generated by mailing ballots to all previous Southern California Super Lawyers and asking them to nominate up-and-coming attorneys they have personally observed in action. Attorney-led research teams evaluate prospective candidates for indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Civic service and pro bono work are also considered.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Russakow has lectured on numerous occasions to various human resource groups on methods to prevent sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuits. He is a 1992 graduate of Loyola Law School, and attended the University of California at Irvine where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
